GIO was founded in 2022 to combine a power generation model for solar power plants and a model for powering electric vehicles, whose share in global transportation is increasing geometrically in a renewable energy context where global power generation is rapidly evolving. Incorporated under the controlling partnership of 
A.Ş. GIO has domestic and foreign, individual and corporate stakeholders who can contribute to the sector. GIO is initiating a modern green cycle by integrating the most advanced 300 kW chargers, capable of charging an average 90 kW battery in 20–25 minutes, with 560 W half-cut monocrystalline solar panels. To this end, we aim to meet the demand for electric vehicle charging stations on interurban roads that is predicted to arise, especially after the launch of the Turkish national project without facing energy problems. One of the most important factors in meeting the energy demand on interurban roads is the provision of fast services. Research shows that on average it takes no more than 20–25 minutes for motorists to top up their vehicles and get food, drink, use the facilities, etc. while their traveling. For this reason, GIO plans to equip its stations with fast charging points to get passengers to their destinations as quickly as possible. GIO will establish 156 fast charging stations in 2023, and at least 510 by 2029, and nearly 200 MWp of solar power plants to power them, through its clean energy cycle, GIO aims to bequeath a more habitable world to the next generation by investing in the future today.
